The Barella Global Advantage

Our U.S. Investor Visa Team

EB-5 Lawyer Kyle BarellaKyle Barella, Managing Attorney
Kyle Barella is the Managing Attorney of Barella Global’s London and Brussels offices and an experienced U.S. investor visa lawyer focused on the E-2 Treaty Investor and EB-5 Immigrant Investor visa categories.

Kyle is a citizen of Chile, the United States, and Belgium and has practiced U.S. immigration law outside of the United States for over a decade. His practice centers on advising entrepreneurs, high-net-worth individuals, and foreign enterprises seeking U.S. market entry through investment-based immigration strategies. He represents individual E-2 investors, EB-5 immigrant investors, regional centers, and project developers throughout every stage of the investor visa process, including consular processing and USCIS adjudication.

In the EB-5 context, Kyle advises investors on immigration compliance, source-of-funds documentation, petition preparation, and removal of conditions. He also works closely with EB-5 regional centers and developers on project structuring, regional center designation, and ongoing USCIS compliance matters. His practice emphasizes careful legal due diligence and immigration-focused risk management, while remaining strictly separate from investment advisory services.

Prior to founding Barella Global, Kyle served as External General Counsel to an EB-5 investment advisory firm, where he supported EB-5 offerings from an immigration compliance perspective, including petition strategy, investor documentation frameworks, and coordination with securities and tax professionals.

Kyle has contributed to the U.S. immigration legal community as a faculty member for the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), presenting on consular processing at U.S. embassies and consulates abroad. He has also spoken at the AILA Rome District Chapter Conference and serves as faculty for TRTCLE, lecturing on U.S. investor and business immigration topics in Continuing Legal Education (CLE) programs.

Kyle earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Ave Maria School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from George Mason University. He is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
